It's Friday night and there's so much we could do. We'll do the usual as we usually do. Go to a party, and drink myself dry while she's in the bedroom with another guy.

When I get home I play my Nintendo and pass out on the couch. As I doze off I dream of thieves and cops and rid my writers block. I could write about my love life or sing about the city lights or how this world is still black and white.
With all these songs so typical, varieties are limited, it's time to play my part once again.
No matter how hard I try, I'll just stay in the middle I'll remain at this height because I'm better off. And I'll just sit here for days to write a song that will craze because I know that I am, I know I'm better off this way.
I try to understand to kept my thoughts all jammed and as I planned, to start this danger cavern I'll turn on my lucky lantern.
